I just got this email.  It looks like the game is still on, but then this email makes no sense.

Coach,

Quick update - looks like there was some kind of mixup with Stillman. Leroy Brown, their AD, just called to let me know they can't play us on that date. I guess we could see if they have any other open dates. Let me know what you want to do.

I agree, that doesn't make sense to get that response if the game is still on.

I've only seen that email when they pulled the offer before the game was scheduled.

Did you or they decline and then someone re-issued the matchup and it was accepted?

I don't think so.  I thought I had my schedule set.  I got an email this evening saying it wasn't going to work out.  However, it is on my schedule.  Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but exhibition games don't even ask to be home or away so it isn't like they would counter offer.
