If you're tired of the game or can't bare to give up one of the teams dearest to your heart, I totally get it, seriously.

But please, don't blame a rule the site admin put in place a long time ago (of which you surely were aware of and had plenty of time to resolve) as the reason for your untimely and unwanted exit.

Having read his post, I believe his issue is that the issue was previously brought up by customer service, and they were fine with him having a team 700 miles away from another.

There is obviously a divide between newer folk and older folk about the rules.

Who the hell cares, its a game. End of story.

new thread? Really? Couldn't you have just posted this on page 10 of that thread?

WIS is  losing veteran coaches because of a silly rule being enforced only by other coaches. I think that this is a problem.

You, nacho, think that the rule is not silly, and that it should be strictly enforced, even if it means the game losing many of its best coaches (and in a game that's struggling to stay populated). From your side, a rule is a rule, and there is no gray. We get your side of things.

This is a disrespectful thread toward a very well-respected, successful, and intelligent coach. This thread should end. What a waste of time.

No kidding, bbunch.  I'll take an iguana with teams within 50 miles of each other over any nacho or stine or hughes any day.  Isn't the point of these rules to make the game better?  I don't see too many people (other than a very vocal minority) thinking the game is better off with less iguana, emy, & billy g, etc coached teams.

I don't think the game is better with less of these guys. I don't like the thought that someone has more than 1 team per world. I understand WIS wants paying customers, but I have never liked the thought of having multiple ID's in one world because there is always the thought that someone could take advantage of it. I am not saying these guys did, they were normally the most up front about it, but I am sure there are people out there that have used their multiple teams to their advantage.

But that's the main point, julius...nobody in their right mind would cheat with multiple known aliases when it's so easy to just add a Free HD team to do so.  If they dropped Free HD, then I'd definitely agree with you.  But all of these coaches leaving got their teams pre-potential.  That's a long time to be invested in a school to just tell them to move on, with nothing in the way of recompense.

I agree I don't like the fact they let them do it and now they are changing the rules. I would see why people would get ****** and not want to play the game anymore. I had thought about adding multiple ID's a while back and decided that I would just add 1 day worlds, even though they are crushingly slow. I think everyone can agree that WIS has handled this issue poorly.

Agreed on all points.

P.S.  Opposing viewpoints without resorting to name calling.
