Highest ranked/rated player D2 can pulldown? Topic

Hello everyone,

I know it has been discussed before and I searched the forums and couldn't find it (or I was typing in the wrong key words). 

I recently took over at A prestige Wisconsin Parkside (D2) and I was curious how high I could reach with recruits? Is there a rating or rank # that is a ceiling or high point?

Non local guys A's can get in the 170's (give or take).

A+s can get into the 140's.

For local guys I have seen as low as 98.

There are a ton of factors though (position, distance, DI schools, etc.)

Even at A+ I haven't been able to go any higher than 170s myself, but of course that doesn't mean it can't be done. Maybe I'm just an average recruiter at best for all I know.

I just saw 164 SF go to a B prestige that was like 600 miles away.

It usually depends on position.  SFs tend to be higher than the other 4 positions.  I have a handful of SFs in the 90-110 range get pulled down, but I've never seen any other positions that high.
