I just signed on as the coach of Wheaton College, and I offered a few high-level D3 recruits and sent them a lot of things (phone calls, coach calls, potential visits, etc.). They didn't seem to respond right away, is that a bad sign? Thanks.

responses come back in 3 hour shifts, not immediately. 

Could someone link to the DIII recruiting guide? I can't seem to find it. Beantown, read the guide when someone links to it, it'll have everything you need to know.

How then do I see that some recruits are already considering schools? Thanks

Click on the recruit's profile. On the lefthand side there is a box that says "Considering" - It will list  the school(s) if he is considering someone, and will be blank if he is not considering anyone.

SIMS start recruiting slightly earlier than human coaches are allowed to, so all the schools that have players considering them at the very start are computer coached.  Unless maybe they were an ineligible player that went JUCO and are still considering the school that signed them the previous recruiting period

I did that, and multiple recruits already had a school or multiple schools listed.

Well keep looking! :) . I'm guessing here, but probably about 10-20% of the recruits will have SimAI considering them, but there are plenty of recruits out there that have no one considering them.
