I recently promoted a minor league BC to be my 3b coach....until the new hiring came along and I realized I promoted him thinking his baserunning skill was 91...oops it was his patience...now I got a guy with 24 running skill calling the steals and rounding home...eek...Will I really see the impact...and this was the season I was going to bring my runners up.

3B coach has no actual impact on your team performance.  All coaches only affect development, be it postive or negative.

Your fast guys need to have good baserunning ratings to perform well on the bases.
