Our goal is to build up a mid-major conference and compete with the big boys. 

In the Naismith world, the MAC has 10 dedicated and talented coaches. There are openings at Akron and Western Michigan for the final two slots. 

Akron loses only 2 seniors, and the Zips have a history filled with National Tournament Bids. You can win there. The school doesn't have a lot of hot babes, but does the nation's leading program for polymer research - primarily focused on supporting the local tire and rubber industry. 

Western Michigan university has an absolutely terrible basketball team. Their last winning season was 18 years ago. Success there will turn any coach into a local demigod. There's also a great aviation program there. I heard that the kids are much better at flying planes than they are at basketball. Maybe a new coach will shift their priorities.
