phantom injury? Topic

i submitted the following ticket to admin on 8-6.....

i had a freshman guard, mark harrelson, break his ankle in the 7/28 game vs arkansas tech.
the assistant coach emailed the following after the game...
Coach, the tests are showing fractured ankle - I'm thinking he'll be out at least 4 days. Good news is that it doesn't look like it will be a chronic issue.
he actually was at 100% after 3 games, so he was able to play sooner.
he played 8/1 - 8/3, without getting injured, however after the game on 8/3, his health showed 76. i've not gotten anymore emails concerning him - and i am unable to determine when he was injured after returning to 100%.
can you explain what happened, as i'm at a loss to understand this situation.

no one from admin has replied to my question...has anyone else seen a phantom injury like this?

I've never heard of it...

1 thing to double check - they made it tricky to submit a ticket and sometimes its easy to click the wrong button at the final step and it never get sent. Make sure you show an open ticket. If so, I would add to the ticket to try to prompt someone to take a look... GL.

they finally replied...with an 'are you sure he was injured' question. they wait almost a full week, and then ask are you sure he was injured, because they can play at below 100%.....like we didn't know.
as i told them, twice...the only status listed under when to rest player (fairly fresh, tired, rest, etc,...) - was 'injured' w/ a red cross listed. he recovered in 3 days, not the 4 days they estimated - he was at 100%. i played him for three games at 100% - then after the third game, his health status was at 76% - with no play by play listing for an injury or an email from the asst coach saying he had been injured.

I'd bet dollars to donuts that you misread his percent health when he became eligible to play again.   On an injury that has a mandatory time to sit-out, the player never comes back at 100%, but most often in the 60's.   With a 37 WE & 36 DUR, it would make sense that he had recovered from 60% to 76% in 3 games.

I've never heard of this, but there is something a bit off when it comes to injuries. I have had it happen to me at least a handful of times when a guy gets hurt in a game, doesn't come back, but then no email comes regarding his injury and his health is at 100%. That happened in my first preseason game this season in Tark, 1 minute into the game my starting C got hurt and didn't return, but nothing else.

I think that's a different issue. Sometimes players suffer those game ending injuries but are ok afterwards - I always look at it as the trainers kept him out as a precaution but he checked out ok after...

Nah, it's a glitch. Before the engine change even in those situations you would always get an email stating that he's near 100% but he could obviously benefit for some time off. Even in the instances where he was injured and came back into the game you'd still get the email every time. It's like the injury never happened the way it happens sometimes now.

I don't read many pbps so I guess maybe I haven't noticed. I do still get the email sometimes though. I always think its pretty funny when I get the kid died message and he could obviously use some rest, but he's at 100%...
