If redshirting a player and not notfiying him beforehand, when will the drop in WE occur?  Im assuming there will be a drop since no prior notification?

As soon as you get his message that you don't know what you're doing and he's ******.  Typically I've had it happen the cycle after redshirting him.  If he has high WE and there are 1-2 older players ahead of him, he may actually agree with your decision.

whatever happens will come at the next regular activity cycle - 2-5-8 ET

If he is behind better players at his slot and generally on your roster, and if he wasnt a big recruiting reach for you, then he might be fine with it

That's how it's always worked, that they respond at the next cycle.  But a few days ago in Naismith, I actually got a response 1 minute after.  The email from the coach saying "I hope you know what you're doing..." came at 1:47am and the player responded at 1:48am.

So that might be different now.  Or maybe just a random bug.  I'm curious if anyone else has noticed that.

I have 1 player at same pos ahead of him, but use a C as pf so he becomes 3 in depth chart, hasn't played all year so I figured I would give a shot and see what happens. Never tried to redshirt before so wth!
