Am sure someone has mentioned this before, but...

The way the SIMs appear to allocate practice time is screwed up.

I very often see Freshmen and Sophmores with A or A+ IQ in their offenses and defenses. They almost always have plenty of development room, as indicated by the fact their ratings are increasing.

We've had some discussion of the relative importance of ratings vs IQ, but it seems to me that the allocation implied by the above is definitely inefficient.

Would be cool if the SIM engine did some randomization of time allocations (within sensible limits). The idea would be to mimic the effect of human coaches, who obviously have their own, differing ideas about time allocation.

What annoys me, from having taken over previously sim teams, is they STILL. Don't spend ANY minutes on low post for guards even though it matters now.

the SIM would improve massively even if they made a simple rule like "all low-potential areas get 5 minutes of practice, the rest is spread out evenly" instead of spreading it out all over the place. Personally, I'd be content with 0, but I know some people wouldn't like that.
