Keeping a guy in the minors Topic

I have a player who is MLB ready, but I want to wait until next season to promote. Due to some early promotions though this is his 3rd season of AAA ball (4th year), will I lose him to retirements if I wait since he may think he'll never get a chance?

He's extremely unlikely to retire if he's on the 40-man.  Otherwise it certainly could happen.

Looks to me like you've got a pretty good 25-man roster between the handful of decent players you have at the ML level and the ML-ready guys you've got toiling in AAA.

Looks like your AAA team is better than your ML team. What's the point of winning a AAA championship and having winning records at every level EXCEPT the majors?

A quick glance at both your ML and AAA rosters tells me, even if you call up all viable AAA guys, your ML team still is not good enough to do much other than drop your draft slot.

A quick glance at this thread tells me that one person addressed the question and the rest decided to critique his team.

Players on the 40 with still around into their 40s.

More sage advice straight from the "Tankers Handbook".

As my ML team rips off a string of wins, and now has a winning record and the 10th best record in all of my world. I don't know how they're winning so much lately, but I'll take it. haha
