Just thought this was interesting. A team in DII Smith lost three consecutive games and was still ranked in the top 10. The team in question has played a majority of it's games on the road and had two losses to very good teams, but the other loss (second in the sequence) was to a team with a current rpi of 110.

In Iba DIII last season, the #1 team lost two straight and maintained it's ranking. After losing the next day, they dropped to #2

Haha, and the saga continues...They lost again, making it 4 in a row, and they're still ranked in the top 20.

The loss occurred on the road to team that was previously 3-6.
