As most people have seen, WIS is giving free season of gridiron dynasty to bring in new coaches to play version 3.0 of the game. It got me to play a season there, which I had never done before, and because of this DIII in the world I'm in is completely full with what appears to be mostly NEW coaches.
Why not advertise to give everyone a free season of HD also, just to get coaches in and maybe we can get a few to stay? They can do promotion code rules where you can't fss unless you buy more seasons. But I see no reason why WIS can't give away a few seasons to let coaches try it out, or have people tell their friends they can try it out for free. It doesn't cost the company money to let people play the game. And they are not getting revenue from sim coached teams. So let's try to get a few coaches in the door then hook them in. Even if only a few coaches stick around the site makes money.
Can someone explain to me why this is a bad idea? Or why it wouldn't work? Because it seems obvious to me that this can only help.
And if every coach joins for a free season then lets the team go sim again instead of paying money, then we are in the same position as before. So why not?
