Basic Theme
Have you ever wanted to do an "All Players" Progressive but without a complete free for all on players and/or not having to start with rookie seasons? This is the league for you. We will start with a 25 player draft where all players must be chosen in a season ending in "1" (1901, 1911....2011 etc). In year two, all players will progress to the next season in line....for example if you drafted Babe Ruth and started with 1921, then in season 2 you would have to use his 1922 season. We will continue to progress until we finish up with the "0" seasons (1910, 1920, 1930 etc). We will try to fill this to a 24 team league but if interest doesn't allow us to get that far, we may start with 16 (or more) owners committed and go with whatever league format best supports the # of owners involved.
League Rules
1-League Format: The goal is to have 24 teams and use the Standard WIS Format. In the event we get at least 16 owners signed up but can't reach 24, we will select a format that best fits the number of owners signed up.
2-League Alignment: Random in the first year and then will stay the same for all future years.
3-Salary Cap: $255MM (Max).
4-Ballparks: Prior to the start of the draft, each owner will get one vote to ban a ballpark. Any ballpark with 3+ votes to ban will not be available. All other parks will be available and will be drafted based on random order. This will take place prior to the start of the initial player draft so that you can choose players accordingly.
5-League Settings: No to DH, WW, and AAA. Yes to injuries and trades (14 to veto). Live play will be limited to the series. Transaction deadline will be enforced.
Roster Rules
1-All Player Seasons must come from 1901-present. They can be full seasons, partial seasons, or combined seasons. All players are 100% exclusive. In other words, if I draft 1921 Babe Ruth you can't have 1931 Babe Ruth......
2-The Period of Time used must be a 10 year block of seasons. This can be accomplished one of two ways:
- Chronological Order: Example, Babe Ruth 1921-30
- Rollback Method: The rollback method allows a one time rollback to previous years as long as the gap between the earliest and latest season is 10 years. Example, Roy Campanella 1951-57, 1948-50 (1948 and 1957 is a 10 year gap).

Missing Seasons: If you can't put together an acceptable 10 year consecutive period with no missing seasons, then you must either drop the player or place him on the DL when a corresponding season isn't available.
4-The
Initial Draft will take place using the automatic draft tool and only player seasons ending in "1" will be allowed. In subsequent years, you may place a player on the DL if you choose provided he doesn't have the appropriate season available. If you choose not to place him on the DL, then the player will be dropped and therefore banned for the remainder of the league. Players must come off the DL in the year they have a WIS season available.

Future Drafts: Prior to all subsequent drafts, each owner will make a list of Keepers and DL Players (Protected Players) and a list of Drops. As noted above, all Drops are banned for the life of the league. These drafts will be conducted in the forums and the available player pool will be all players NOT PROTECTED or BANNED who have an eligible player season that corresponds with the appropriate season. Draft order will be worst to first (ALL ROUNDS) based on record at the 120 game mark. Tiebreaker will be Expected Win %, most runs allowed, H2H, and finally coin flip.
