We have a very rare opening in C-USA Rupp -- boasting arguably the highest caliber of coaches of any DI conference in HD (aejones, tianyi, weena, jamespastine, shqipta, me, etc)

SMU had been led by a good human coach and has made the postseason 5 of the last 6 seasons, including the last two NTs. He leaves a really nice roster (8 returning players averaging over 700) and as usual we have lots of postseason cash.

For the unitiated, we started this project ~ 20 seasons ago to see if a mid-major could truly be turned into a thriving BCS conference ... and have answered with a resounding yes. We've been #1 in conference RPI the last seven seasons, and routinely send the largest number of teams to the NT/postseason, etc. etc.

Great conference with a terrific group of coaches -- fun, competitive and a unique challenge. If you have a nice Rupp resume and are eligible, we'd love to have you ...

As an extra bonus, we have recently done away with the "Weena Casting Couch", so new applicants to C-USA no longer have to commit unspeakable acts with one of HD's most likeable and depraved head coaches in order to gain entry to the conference. (Special apologies to aejones, who routinely listed that as his favorite thing at our annual coaches conference in El Paso.)
