Projection report/ SOS/RPI Topic

I know this has been talked about before, but just to clarify some things. Projection report ranks you with SOS, OPPSOS, top 1-50 RPI wins, 51-100 RPI wins, Etc...?  So team A has a RPI of 33 and SOS of 43 and don't make NT and team B has a RPI of 45 and SOS of 65 how do they get ranked ahead of you in the projection report?  SOS already is a ranking of the schedule you play. So how if team A is 8-2 vs top 100 RPI and team B is 9-1 vs top 100, how is team B SOS worse then team A, but still make the NT?
Thanks

Team B record vs the top 100 definitely helps. SOS difference is minimal. Overall record can play. As can the last 10 played and record vs the top 25.

Wouldn't record vs top 25 be included in your SOS?  Let's say team A is 18-8 and team B be is 16-10.

Your record has nothing to do with your SOS.  SOS is meant to report the quality of your opponents.
