Who should I start?  We run the flex offense and the press defense.

I was thinking of going with
Bodin PG
Martowski SG
Washington SF
Smith PF
McLee C

What do you think?

I would play Washington at PG and have Bodin be the starting SG and backup PG.

Washington is your best perimeter defender, ideally, you should match him up on your opponents best perimeter scorer.

I agree with your idea except Washington is the best of those three playing at the sf position.
I have plenty of bigs and Smith will play some sf for sure. Matowski has nice numbers but he dosnet know the offense or defense.

Thanks Trent for your thoughts

Perhaps Matowski should come off the bench and have a line up
Washington
Bodin
Smith
Kaneiski
Webster

Bodin is too slow to be a starting PG.  You would have a -1 in SPD against pretty much every DII PG that he is matched up with. You should have Washington at PG so you can utilize his SPD and BH, he will also be very handy when it comes time to shut down a very good PG from your opposition.  I suggest you have your depth chart as follows:

PG:                             SG:                         SF:                        PF:                    C:

#1 Washington             #1 Bodin                #1 Cherry (*)         #1 Kaneiski        #1 Smith
#2 Martowski                #2 Martowski         #2 Driver               #2 McClee         #2 Webster

(*) This is without knowing what attributes each player has room for development and if they have blue black or red for their core attributes.  If Cherry has Blue for REB, SPD, or DEF then it is a no brainer to have him start so that he will develop quicker. It would be nice to have more SPD at the SF position but your ATH and DEF make up for some of that.  Still, you would be better with more SPD to go with those attributes at SF.  You still have one more scholarship right?  Try and get a better SF or PG.  You might even cut Webster and replace him if you have enough money.

I didn't see Martowski.....he and Washington should as many minutes at PG as possible.

Depends on the team you're playing and possibly the type of offense you're running. There are times where you may need to place that extra rebounder at SF or possibly if you're going up against a FCP team, may want an additional guard.Seems like you have lots of good options. However, I can't say there is one specific lineup that will work for each game.

Thanks for the ideas. Guess Chandler is gonna get some minutes at sf. Probably not the start but he has some speed.

yeah Chandlers ATH, REB, and DEF are low for my standards of a starting SF but he will do well coming off the bench while he improves.

Well we made the NT as a 15 seed. The last team selected in the Dance. We won our division in the Conference and only had two players make honorable mention on the all conference squads.
