Here is something I have never seen before.   The starting 5 for Glenville had 0 assists.   The overall team total of 2 assists may be a record as well.

Their passing is pretty bad but even still their starting PG has 65 passing which is low but not terrible for D2. Would expect at least a couple assists.

Two assists, fifteen turnovers. Not good.

My question is how did the sf, pf and c have 11 field goals on 3 offensive rebounds and 1 steal between them if nobody passed to them. Doesn't seem feasible that there were only 2 assists for the whole game.

my d3 whitter team is a decent team ,  #11 ranked.  but have had two awful games.  in one of them,  we had only 5 assists, and 6 in the other.  
team PA rating is 41, which is 17th best out of 384 d3 teams.   motion offense.  no stud passer, but three gaurds in mid 60s,  other gaurd is near 50  and starting sf is 50 .   backup sf is frosh gaurd with mid 30s pa.  big men are pretty good passers for d3

in our wins we average about 17 asst per game on 24 made FG
in our two losses       5.5 asst per game on 19 made FG
the two teams we lost to were very good teams, pressing teams.  fatigue was a factor.
but our athleticism, sp ,etc was equal or better than our opponents.  and their defense was good (50ish)  but not incredible
we have 6 seniors and probably average A- IQ

I know this was a case of good team  vs. bad team but I was pretty shocked to see 1 assist against 27 turnovers. www.whatifsports.com/hd/GameResults/BoxScore.aspx

Ironically I just looked and I have given up 1 assist, 2 assists and 3 assists in 3 different games this year... must be that amazing CSU defense. 

I remember getiguy's Chapman teams in Naismith used to hold opponents to < 3 assists with regularity. Super speedy press teams IIRC
