I'm wondering about the projections reports as my team has the #7 sos is 12-11 and currently out of the tourney. but there are multiple teams with worse records not by much but none the less they're worse. they also have a worse sos than me. these teams are currently on the bubble in the mid 60's anyone have any thoughts on this. I lookes at many of their teams and there were not a ton of "season defining wins". granted I'm 0-7 against the top 25 but still?

as you said, 0-7 vs. top 25. But look at the teams you've played's rpi's. Your sos doesn't matter if you lose to all the good teams you play. sos factors into rpi, but the projection report looks at quality wins. What's you record against teams with top 50 rpi's? those other teams with worse records probably have more quality wins.

One win against a top 100 RPI. 1-11 vs top 100.  0-8 against top 50, 12-11

Catawba: 7-8 vs top 100, 3-6 top 50 - 12-12

Findlay - 4-12 top 100, 2-11 top 50, 10-12

Tusculum - 5-11 top 100, 2-6 top 50, 11-11

Difference is in the top fifties and top 100s

If anyone got gypped, looks like Catawba.   Eyeball test they seem to have a better resume than the two above them ...
