How is this guy not even on the voting list for MVP: 

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Preston Delaney

Led NL in HR, RBI, 4th in BA, 3rd in OBP, 1st in SLG, 1st in OPS, 4th in Runs and not a stiff defensively - more minus than plus plays and 4 errors, but same # of assists as both GG winners and similar range factor.

Not sure in what baseball logic he wouldn't at least be considered.
