Hey guys! My curiosity is killing me. I have this really nice team, CSU Los Angeles over in D2 Wooden with a team rating of 654. I have 5 players at 700+ and 1 other who will be 700+ this year for a total of 6. Only 2 are Seniors. They go: Seniors 755, 733, Jr 704, 704, 685. Soph 712. They all have nice cores. I know Gillispie has probably seen a team like this but I'm curious if others have. Thanks in advance for your responses.

From a post a couple days ago. As far as I know no one can really hold a candle to this team right now D2 wise. Definitely the best team I've seen in the short time I've been here.

Yes, I know first hand how good that squad is.....you just pounded me three days ago.

All I can add is, you have one of the best D2 squads I have ever played against.  GL in running the table!

Do I sense a trend this is a California thing?

Yeah, Stanislaus only has 2 700+ players, and 7 600's.  I think you and he might be a close match-up.

Incarnate Word in Iba has a team with 6 guys over 700 (1 over 800) and a 7th that is at 697.  6 of the 7 are Sr's, but their ratings are insane.  809, 796, 782, 778, 747, 738.

Including a walkon their team rating is at 674...minus the walkon they average 707.  Somehow they have managed to lose 4 games so far this season, but all were against pretty darn good teams.

Thanks for the shout bow. We do have the #5 SOS and play in a damn tough conference (conference went 9-0 in the first round of the NT/PT). Wish you weren't in our NT bracket.

The 809 player (O'Leary) was an ineligible, so he's back next season and still black in LP. Going to see how much distro I can run through him, see if he can get drafted.

N. Alabama in Allen is going to start the season with a team rating of 694. They have 6 700 players and 3-5 more that will make it by the end of the season.
