I'd like to redshirt a recruit, but when i was about to hit the button I saw that I had promised him minutes.  Should I redshirt him anyway? and if I do, what will the consequences be?  

If, after redshirting, I try to take the redshirt back, will the negative impacts be erased?

Any feedback is appreciated.

He'll have a huge WE penalty if you promised him minutes.

If you pull back the RS, the penalty will go away.
