In 2007, his best year defensively, his RF/9 was 5.39 and the lgRF9 was 4.44. His fielding percentage was .987. So far this year his RF/9 is 5.33, but the lgRF/9 is down to 4.15. His fielding percentage so far is 1.000. Yes, that's right, terriffic range and no errors. Plus he's hitting a little bit. He's at .421/.522/.794. I know his hitting will come back to Earth, and he will eventually make some errors, but he is off to a decent start.

I don't really care about Tulo one way or the other, but I would like to see someone bat .400. If he can keep that going for a while longer, I'll become a fan.

I'm a "fan from afar" of Tulo and have come to appreciate him more, especially after seeing him in person down at Dodger Stadium a couple weeks ago.  He is built like an athlete; he is an all around athlete and reminds me of Ripken in some way.    He is a bit injury prone, but if that is ever solved.... HOF?

You never wish injury on a player...but... What If he gets one of those freak baseball injuries tomorrow. He has to be among the elites in terms of $/PA
