Longest running regressive in WifS needs 1 for '65 Topic

My regressive league--which started with 24 teams in the 2005 season--needs one dedicated owner for 1965 and beyond.  We're in our 40th season now (1966), having gradually contracted to 16 owners (about half of whom have been in since the very beginning).  Need one good owner for the Mets franchise for the 1965 season (we're about halfway through '66).

Typical progressive rules--except you can only keep 15 players from season to season.  Drafted AAA only.  Draft order set at Game 120--you have to win 35 to qualify for a top 5 pick.

How is present team doing in league?  What is draft staus for 65?
6/3/2014 11:22 AM
Current record is 25-30.  That would put them 7th in the draft order right now--although many teams are clumped together and we don't set draft order until Game 120.

They are pitching challenged.  Are future draft picks traded in league?  What kind of draft?  How is the order of top 5 picks determined?  I am curious because I like time
period.  Do you stay in same division every year?
6/3/2014 12:00 PM
you can trade draft picks one season ahead.  draft is worst to first (based on record at 120) for 7 rounds (1 each round 1-4, 2 each round 5-7).  divisions will stay the same (now that we are set on 16 teams).

I will take if still available.
