The tricky part is, of course, making sure the colleges and NBA end at the same time. Would it be a problem if an NBA playoff lasted 7 games instead of 4?
They'd also need to decide how long an NBA career will last. They can't play forever. Will their skills decrease as they age?
I doubt this thing would ever happen, but I love al's idea, and it's already programmed in: potential!
Young players would have positive potential, and as they aged it would max out and turn to the 4th (so-far-unseen) level: yellow, or negative potential. You could devote all of your bench guys' practice to skills, since their STA wouldn't matter. Or not, and try to run people out of the gym.
