no, fb and motion are definitely not the same, in that regard. fastbreak causes more fatigue, just like press does compared to man or zone. fastbreak and press both cause more possessions too, which contributes fatigue to the opponents, not just for yourself.
running fb and fcp you have to be extremely careful. you have to be 12 deep at all times, no redshirts, no walkons, and still stamina is arguably the most important rating :O
