7-year development patterns Topic

when I began studying the development patterns of players on other teams, usually they had players who stopped developing completely after 3-5 seaons. I have a couple of in-their-prime quad-A guys who have never stopped adding

Those guys are not great for sure but it's hard to complain with decent production for the league minimum. They keep improving just enough statistically to stay in the lineup while I wait for better prospects to emerge.  Is there something special I'm doing right to get those extra ratings (and thus, extra stats) or is it just luck of the particular players?  I have a pretty killer coaching staff, so if it is because that, then will my actual good prospects continue getting better for 7 seasons also or do we think this only apply to quad-A type of guys?

My initial thought is better coaching as they improved in "learned" skills.   In the case of Meng, he had an injury and took a step back in "physical" skills also.   So I think he's getting back to where he should have been.   Spence is all "learned" skills so I'm pretty sure it's coaching.   Did they have poor coaching before you took the team.
