This league (the Separate Draft League or SDL) is really  two progressive leagues in one. The NL is a 12 team league which started in 1901 and the AL is a 12 team league which started in 1941. No trading of players or draft picks is allowed between the 2 leagues, so the NL will always only have players progressing from 1901 and the AL will only have players progressing from 1941.

The team available is the AL's St. Louis Browns, who will be entering the 1948 season. The team currently has a record of 75-70 with 17 games left in the 1947 season and is 2nd in the AL West Division, 11 games behind the Kansas City Royals.

The Browns were taken but an owner with teams in both the AL and NL has decided to withdraw from WIS so 2 additional teams have become available as listed below.
