yeah, dropdowns are a huge part of successful recruiting. check out aejones's how to win in d2/d3 and also, check the forums for the week, there have been some good discussions on pulldowns and such. pulldowns is a dropdown that you actively recruit (using scouting trips) to get them to consider you before they would naturally have dropped down. its a very important topic in d2 and d3 recruiting, although if you are new to the game, don't worry much about pulldowns until you are at least several to a half dozen seasons in, and feel you have a good grasp of what it takes to make players good, and how dropdown mechanics work with phone calls and backup messages and all that good stuff.
