Not great in any catergory and if I where to do it again I probably wouldn't recruit him. This is DI and he is avg. 17 ppg. Do you think it's because he is coming off the bench. Just doesn't seem to have the attributes to score that much.

Nearly 40% of his points have come from the charity stripe and he is shooting about 43% from the floor. I think the ppg is a bit misleading. Your initial instincts are right, this guy isn't very good especially at DI, IMHO. I think his numbers will come down a bit, but you're right I wouldnt expect him to be scoring double digits in the starting lineup.

3. You've played a low end mid major, a decent mid major and an awful team.
4. For D1 hes not great, but hes not bad and if you're not playing the best of the best hes not going to hurt you.
5. If he coming off the bench against mid majors its very likely he'll be the best player on the floor by a significant margin.
6. FCP can lead to easy baskets, how many of those is he getting?

Players like Bo can be really useful off the bench at D1.  Sometimes you've just got to sign somebody to eat minutes.  Don't expect him to keep scoring like that.  He's only shooting 43% (with 0 FG3A...that's bad).  Seems like a garbage time monster.

That's what I was thinking. He should be around what he did last year. 16mpg and 8ppg.

In the 2 pbp games I checked he got 1 fb lay up. The rest are out of set offense.

He's shooting 43% from the field, with 0 3s, while your team is shooting 51.6% from the 2pt range. If anything, his 17.3 ppg is working against you.
