Constitution, but let's not pretend that every president for the past 200 years hasn't knowingly and explicitly violated the Constitution when they felt it was in the best interest of the nation.  Regardless of political views/parties.

  I haven't looked at the scoreboard.  You may have a point since "the last 200 years" transcends the Articles of Confederation.  To answer that statement truthfully is not fully in my grasp.  Calvin Coolidge and Harry Truman come quickly to mind as people citizen Presidents who bucked the system.  Did they cross the line?  Alls I know is I'm sick of Executive Orders and the people who employ them.  Make the Congress get off their collective *** and debate and pass laws.  The President doesn't make law.  The Congress does.  But the Congress cannot pass a law if one branch (Harry Reid) blocks it.  535 bills setting on his desk.  No debate.  No vote.  It's time to move on.
