Hey, there,
Italyprof started a really unique 16-team progressive (4 by 4, no wild card format) that's halfway through its third season and getting ready for our Season 4 draft.

16 teams, no cap, no DH, no WW, unlimited DL for players with no active WIS season. You maintain a roster of up to 30 players, putting 5 in AAA for use during the season if you like.

For the initial draft, all players were eligible, and were drafted by region. All players are grouped into 16 regions of roughly 1,000 players each, based on the place of the player's birth. U.S.-born players are split up into 14 regions. For instance, Ohio is one region, New England with its 6 states in another. Internationally born players are divided into two regions - Caribbean and the Rest of the World.

Each season, teams can keep up to 30 active players, and receive picks to bring their roster up to 30 players. Players randomly receive different regions to draft from. Win/loss record is irrelevant for each season's draft, so there is no incentive to have poor seasons. All players not selected in the inaugural or subsequent drafts are eligible to be picked.

Players advance one season as a time, as in virtually all progressives, so players taken in the first draft will be entering their fourth season, and players taken in the Season 2 draft will be entering their third season, etc.

Claim the team, or sitemail me any questions.
