I coach in Rupp in Div. III. In the national tournament for division two in my world, TWO one seeds lost in the first round. TWO two seeds lost in the first round. You thought it was over? No. two 14 seeds are in the sweet sixteen, in the same tournament. I almost can not believe what I am seeing. One section, the west section, saw the top four teams in the section eliminated in the round of 64. Just, wow. Has anyone else seen a bracket like that?

That's pretty extreme, although I've seen two #1 seeds eliminated in the first round before. I remember it well, because the teams were mine and  a conference rival. 

At DII Rupp, the Elite Eight are seeded 1,1,2,3,7,7, 9,9.  Two of the regions have 7 and 9 finalists.
