Newbie question- Topic

I have had a ton of fouls in my last exhibition game and now in my first game of the year.

In the last scrimmage I thought it was because my freshman were not ready IQ wise but in the first game I limited their PT and played mostly a veteran group.

Question basically is...what is the ideal way to limit fouls and still play solid effective defense from a man to man style?

its the team sim recruits are generally pretty terrible in ath, spd, and def, you started a guy with 4 ath and 2 def also it looks like you either used target minutes or set your fatige to yired which is not good, most player at best can get 26-28 minites at good levels of tiredness, i like to set my best players to getting tired and nothing more.  so combined with sim recruits, high levels of fatigue and opponent playing uptempo is a foul happy game

honestly the only upperclassmen you should star are ngo, riddlemen, and rollins. and then your good freshmen, looking at your roster it sucks to hear this but even finding the optimal lineup your looking at only a handful of wins, its best to just prepare for the future and give your freshmen starts and playing time

also from looking at your recruits base ratings and not knowing potentials you did an okay job of recruitng however under no circumstance do i recomwnd recruiting a player with def of 2 so in the fjture id recomend against that even if he has blue potential
