Watching Games (RL) Topic

I just cut cable and only get to watch the Phillies (gasp!) where I live....being a METS fan, that's a little rough.......I was looking at the mlb.com package and they only have a monthly/yearly option.......in all honesty, I'll probably only watch 10-15 games this year (with today being one of them), is there a way to buy access to the game so I can stream them on my computer?,........looking to buy one game at a time.

I don't believe they offer that. But maybe someone here has a username and password they'd be willing to share with you accidentally.

(I would if I had one)

Every day they offer at least one game for free.  Usually it involves the worst teams in the league so I imagine a lot of the Phils games will be free.  As a Phillies fan in Wisconsin, I've been watching them on mlb.com for the last five years.  Also, as the season progresses the subscription price goes down.  So if watching Cody Asche and friends becomes more appealing, you can get in cheaper as the summer months go by.

Not one game at a time Trentonjoe - for around $100 on mlb.com you get all games of all teams for the whole season - my bet is that it is competitive with any cable deal for a month or so.

No.  I've seen Comcast ads saying about $160 for the season, maybe it's $200, but still...

I already have MLB.TV premium anyway, so I'm not buying it.  But it's not THAT much more expensive.

Of course, since I'm still at work when my Orioles play, a Cable-based package would be utterly worthless to me anyway.
