I just came back on the site after a long time away and was looking to join a high and low cap league. Finding an interesting higher cap league wasn't a problem but, after skimming through the classifieds, there don't seem to be any low cap leagues (40-60mil) out there at all.

Do low cap leagues still attract owners? If so, I'll probably start one up.

Haven't seen a 40M league in a long long time...no idea what kind of response you will find.

60M shows up a couple of times a year, and takes a long time to fill.

70M is what passes for low cap these days...there is one filling right now MLB112394.

If you're looking for leagues without all the usual OL cookies, there are two 80M leagues open right now that pretty well eliminate all the usual suspects:

Interesting. I'll look into those, thanks! I'm kind of surprised that the cookie landscape doesn't seem to have changed much since the last time I played a few teams.

That's the biggest gripe around here - and why so many old-timers have left.  It's been years since a significant upgrade to the system.

Congrats!  That's exactly what I was doing while I was gone.  I went to college full time at age 32, worked almost full time, took care of my wife and kids, along with a bunch of other stuff.  I had no time for this site.  :)

That's awesome! Congrats man.

I have a $70 mil league with no AAA that is getting close to full if you'd like to give it a try.  Contrarian mentioned it above, MLB112394.  It's my 3rd season and I'm planning to keep it around. Seems to be good competition and the rosters tend to be pretty diverse thus far.
