What is yours?  I just lost a a sim team by 7 after being 22 point favorites clear advantages in everything only weakness was low bh outside PG at press.

Anyone else have a really bad upset?

season 71 Crum was my worst upset ever. My Maryville team, possibly the best D3 team I've ever had, lost in the second round of the CT to a crappy sim. We ended up going 33-1 and winning the NT. That was our only loss. 

The only loss in my national championship season was a loss as a 36-point favorite to a Sim team. Not sure if it s my most embarrassing (although definitely in the running), but definitely is the most maddening since it turned out to be the only loss that team suffered the entire season. 

I lost to in the NT to a SIM, two seasons in a row.

I have two that stick with me:

 In my first Final Four appearance, I lost 94-53

 Another year, I was undefeated, ranked #1 and had players on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team All-American lists.  I lost in the first round to a 13-17 Sim. That was 77 seasons ago, just to show you how much it still bothers me

a bunch of people have 1v16 losses, i have one myself, not very much fun. but i actually was more upset the year before, or after, i can't remember, when my #1 overall seed team lost in the 2nd round. the one 1v16 had a really good 16 and my team wasn't winning the title that year anyway, but the other year, i thought we were the favorites and had a really good path to the final 4 to boot, and we lost to some sucky 2nd round team - who hopefully isn't reading this :) 

AT least 1v16 losses are to NT teams.

I had a Pittsburgh team in Smith that made it to the elite 8 or final 4 one year.
That season we finished the Big East with a 14-2 record.

The loss was to Louisville who finished the conference at 1-15.

The 16 seeds in this game are usually much better than the real life 16 seeded teams.

True.  In the recent Rupp DI tournament, the 16 seeds had RPIs of 64, 93, 107, and 135.

In RL, those RPI spots were belonged to Murray St., Seton Hall, New Mexico St., and La- Monroe.   That's a much stronger group than the actual 16 seeds..Hampton,Lafayette, Coastal Carolina and Robert Morris

I lost to a sim where I was a 23 point favorite earlier this season. Which in hindsight not sure how I was the favorite that sim is 80ish rpi points ahead of me. Maybe a bad team exceeding expectations. 

Phelan season 28.  My first ever D1 NT game and I was the 16 seed Bucknell and beat 1 seed St. John's coached by johnsensing.  I didn't have any players that belonged on the court, basically having a good D3 team out there against a powerhouse.

I guess that particular NT was just crazy.  Two #16 seeds won a game and the final four was made up of seeds 3-6-7-11 with the 7 seed winning it all.  Only one #1 seed made the sweet 16, but 5 double digit seeds made the sweet 16.

I do not remember that game fondly, yanks.  Easily my most bitter upset.

I don't remember embarrassing losses, honestly...now frustrating losses...see any of my title game losses...especially the last one. Had a really good team that season.
