This guy showed up on my D2 screen.  How can someone be a fluid ball handler (67) and passer (73) with an athleticism of 1?  Can you visualize a player like this?  Speed of 63 with DEF, RB and SB of 1 make this guy even more interesting.  It has been noted that there is a strong correlation between ATH and DEF.  It seems like, at least in guards, there should be some correlation between ATH and BH & P.

I think we should start a competition, who can win a NT playing this guy 20 minutes!!!

I always cheer for kids like that to get signed by Simmy so I can follow their careers and schedule them in exhibitions when they reach senior year.

How do they make sense?   ATH is strength, explosiveness and reaction.  ATH usually goes hand-in-hand with DEF.   So, this guy is weak and has no interest in playing defense, but has spent all of his time practicing dribbling and passing.

However, let's assume SPD & PER were blue and BH, P & ST were black.  Then this player could be used of the bench on a zone or press D3 team to win a championship.

More often than not, they find their way into the starting lineup by senior year since the Sim still sets starting lineups by position rather than by ratings in all but the most extreme instances. And since Sim also recruits based off position need, generally there isn't a player at their position recruited the following year...so you get them in the starting lineup. 

As you'd expect though, they're a walking liability. My most recent tracking was a D2 Center than had a 4 for Ath and an LP in the mid-20s with a WE in the high teens (to his credit, he could somehow block shots and handled the ball decently...). By his senior year, the Ath had turned into an 8, but he was horrendous and in 18 minutes of exhibition his counterpart on my roster recorded one of the few triple-doubles I've had in the game. 

Those would be my ratings if I were a WIS player.

You'd have a bit more defense Simpleton... I guess anybody who plays that SIM game is into defense somehow. So on the court, their competitive side makes em a 15 at least at the DEF rating. So you are the same, with 15 rating in defense. (smile)
