Sim recruiting and considering credit Topic

If I understand correctly, forum consensus seems to be that

(1) Sims do all of their pre-signing recruiting at 5 PM before recruiting starts, then doing another burst of recruiting after signings, and only on undecided players.

(2) Considering credit is applied to battles after signings.

Unless I'm missing something obvious, one of these is false. I fought a D2 sim with my D3 Shenandoah team in Smith this week. When the first WOTS came out, the player was "considering UPRRP but very open to other offers." I decided to hold off on any effort and hope that the player would drop to me and I'd save $2500 on the pulldown. 12 hours later (2 PM the day before signings), WOTS listed the player as "very tight with UPRRP." He was also very tight at 2 AM the day of signings

I figure the player must've been very, very close to the threshold between the two types of WOTS messages. But something happened on day two of recruiting that sent him over that threshold. Which, as far as I can tell, means either that the sims recruit after recruiting starts or that considering credit is applied gradually over the course of several days instead of all together at the end. I'm thinking it's the latter.

Anyone else seen something like this or have thoughts on it?

I always thought considering credit begins at some unspecified recruiting period well before signings, perhaps sometime Day 2.

It happened to me too Tarv and it killed some of My recruiting efforts. I am really cautious now when i battle a SIM.

I might've misunderstood, but what I took to be forum consensus was that considering credit starts amassing on day 2 but that it was applied at the end of a battle. I'm taking this from all of the discussion about considering credit pushing a battle one way or the other at the last second.

Considering credit is definitely applied gradually, starting to become noticeable sometime in the second half of day 2. Pretty certain of it.

Considering credit has always felt like bank interest to me.
That is, the earlier you get your money in - the more credit you'll accrue over time.
Any effort in the 1st day or so (maybe slightly less) seems to be on even ground, creditwise.

I also believe Sim considering credit is worth a bit less than human coached credit.

This.....I think it starts 24 hours after effort is put in......I have gone from trailing a SIM to passing a SIM because of considering credit.

I'm fairly sure it is gradually applied beginning sometime in the latter half of day 2.
