Same Season...Different Salaries? Topic

I know it's only Jim Baxes, but why is the same combined season, 2 different salaries...is this common?

You have to pay players more to play in Cleveland than in Los Angeles.

1's NL, 1's AL, they will normalize a little differently

lol italyprof, and thanks uncleal.

So in theory, the AL version should be measurably better (no matter how miniscule) should be better than the NL version?

Wow I just drafted him.  Another player you never would have known about if it wasn't for WIS.

Lol...I'm actually running a league (the Los Angeles Wrigley Field League aka LAWFL) centered around the stadium where the Home Run Derby TV show was contested...Los Angeles Wrigley Field.  In this first season, one of the teams I created was the 5959 Home Run Der B Team, consisting of the 15 batters that had the highest home run totals in 1959 that did not appear on the TV show (the show had 19 contestants).  I'm thinking of doing a 2nd LAWFL and keeping with "tradition" was looking to create a 5959 Home Run Der C Team, consisting of the NEXT 15 batters with the most home runs in 1959, and Jim Baxes is one of the 15, thus my query lol.  Quite an explanation...can you tell I'm enjoying my project? lol.
