I am a new player. This is my 3rd season (the 1st one was a washout as I started it but didn't finish it). I think I have the UI down a bit better now. Any ways I am wondering how long or is there a set limit on how you progress your rookies through the minors? Whether or not they are an IFA or draft recruitment is there a set time you leave them in the rookie league, low a, high a etc ... before moving them into the BL's?

When you have to add them to the 40, their 4th season, they should be in AAA.   How you get there is largely unimportant.  

Personally, I sort of treat RL/LoA/HiA all the same.   A player will play his partial season in one(coaching) then move up a notch the next season.  Sometimes that means they're in AAA by their 3rd season but that doesn't bother me much.

Thanks Mike - So if you get a notice from your coaching staff that XYZ player should be promoted you go ahead and move them up - but if you don't get a notice you leave them where they are at?

I pretty much ignore the notices.   I move them up based on when I project them to be in the bigs and/or when they will be put on the 40.
