Anyone ever run one of these with all their own teams?  I just ran a 12 teamer in MLB and I was hooked watching the stats pile up...it's in the World Series now...just curious if anyone has ever done this.

I was thinking either do divisional all star teams (i.e. 1986 Atlantic, 1995 Pacific, etc), or combine 2 teams together like I did in the baseball sim (7914 Boston Cavaliers 7487 Capital Pistons 8488 Los Angeles C Bullets, et cetrie)

Thoughts?  What would you do?  The NBA sim used to be my jam.

How would the combining work? Like, for the 7914 Boston Cavaliers as an example, would you have to have 6 players from each or would you mix and match however you wanted? Also, what would be the salary cap for such a league?

I remember Back in Board Game days, we would do a Hi/Low format (APBA Baseball, but would work here).  Specify two seasons, lets just say 2000-2001, and 2014-2015.  Best record team from 2000-01, and the worst team from 2014-15 combine, and the owner selects any 12 players from the resulting mash up.  Wouldn't work for a progressive unless you did a twelve team hi-lo from a single season, and then progress the league by year. Advantage of the twelve team league would be you could do a progressive, and easier if you wanted no clones, and a ww.

Probably go 6 and 6...perhaps at worst 8 and 4 (I don't necessarily have limits/designations in the MLB one I do...15 guys...I think the worst was 5 and 10).  Unlimited cap if I owned all 24 teams.  If I thought I could get a theme like this off, I might set a cap for the league actually...60 or 70 or so.  It's just crossed my mind...I wish you could run just a 12 team league on here...I'd do it in a heartbeat.
