Anything ever come of this? I was really looking forward to this up with hopes of a more accurate injury recovery system.

That said, it's possible they listened to the feedback and recognized that drastic changes to injury recovery could turn medical into the next "0 it out" category.

That being said, I agree it needs a tweak. Last year I had a SS who went down for 2 days with a sore back. My team wasn't making the playoffs so I put him on the 60 day DL and he gained 4 points (he's 28) that shouldn't happen.

Yeah but that only makes up for the guy who gets hurt at game 155 for 63 days and lose points because he only gets one recovery cycle.

I'd post the two pitchers that happened to me in Mantle(#7 pick and 24m IFA) but you can't see their rating history.  Both eventually recovered almost everything because they were young but, when it happens to 35 y/o making 12m a year, you're basically screwed.

That's fair. Or a guy I know in my league who had a guy lose 12 points on range from an injury. He is never getting that back.

I'm more of a football and hockey (duh) guy then baseball and am unformilliar, does baseball have garenteed money where if a guy goes down long term he doesn't get paid?

Most, if not all, MLB contracts are fully guaranteed.
