Was looking through some stats tonight with the All-Star break approaching and I can't help but think Wade Davis might be one of the best relievers in the SIM once the season is finished.  Don't see any signs of slowing him down.  The rest of the KC bullpen is filthy!

I would think WHIP+, OAV+, BB/9+ and HR/9+ would be much more valuable that ERA+. I don't think ERA+ factors into the log5 equation of an at bat at all.

Mark Lowe also has a 1.15 WHIP at this point.  He's not that good.  And I'm sorry, but there's no way that Wade Davis with his 0.85 WHIP is on his way to being one of the BEST pitchers in the sim.  Especially in such a pitching-dominant season.  Not on par with guys with similar numbers from the mid '90s through mid '00s.  A very good pitchers, yes, and useful at most higher caps.  But not elite.

He's basically having exactly the same year as last year ATM, but with fewer Ks.  Maybe that will make him less overpriced...

Another good looking reliever is Cody Anderson from the Cleveland Indians.
