You're talking about the batting average of a player with 80 real life AB/162 games. If he's not being overused, that means approx. 90 simmed AB. You said you don't want to hear about "small sample size" but...that's a small sample size.

To give you a more extreme example of what we're talking about here: my 1910 Joe Jackson goes 3 for 5 in a game, yours goes 0 for 5. Is the sim broken? How can one hit .600 and the other .000? 90 AB isn't a whole heck of a lot more significant than 5 AB.
