Under the Available Theme Leagues listing, leagues are designated as Private or MLBxxxxx, and also have seen the odd THMxxxxx. What is the difference in these formats? If a league is a Private League is it open to join or is it by invitation?
MLBxxxxxx indicates a league that is either in play or is just waiting on people to enter teams. That is, it's leagues that aren't THMxxxxx, which is reserved for leagues that have a Theme Wizard Live Draft process to go through first. Those leagues turn into MLBxxxxxx leagues upon the conclusion of the draft.
Theme Leagues marked "Private" are usually marked so because their rules are more complicated than the wizard allows for, and you should check the Theme League Classifieds for the ads for those leagues to sign up for them, and wait for the commish to sitemail you the league number.
