Picked up a guy off the WW.  Rosters expand in 7 days.  Can I leave him Unassigned that long?

You should be fine waiting the 7 days. But if you want him on a playoff roster, you're going to want to assign him before Roster Expansion.

I think you can add him to your 40 without assigning.    Not 100% sure but about 98%.
