What happens when you put a double team on while you are in a man to man defense? Does one player not get guarded or does it turn into a zone defense? Or what happens? Thanks

I have always imagined that the double comes from somewhere, but there are switches - so the result is as scaturo says - it helps the other guys on the floor - depending on the passing ability etc of the guy you double

yeah, thought that was the norm lol. Ran some successful M2M teams doing this back in the day. My teams were always good defensively.
