Difficulty getting a game LIVE Topic

Anyone else get kicked out of the LIVE lobby if there's no games going on after about a minute? It makes it very hard to get a game started, used to be you could log in and if no one was on, just leave the screen open, do something else and wait for a challenge/ Now you have to keep logging back in over and over.

Would be great if this were fixed.

I usually have a lot longer than a minute, but it's been doing that to me for years.

Unless games are being played, it does that frequently to me also. Sometimes I will play a game just to have a game going.

While waiting for others to come in the live lobby. sometimes I'll practice with with one of my teams drafted for a new league or play a couple classic teams against each other (e.g. 20's NYY's, 70's Red Machine, Weaver's Orioles, early 70's A's, 69 Miracle Mets, early 50's Indians, etc.) ... Games typically last about 20 minutes ... Never been kicked out ...

It happens to me too, I also usually start a game between 2 of my teams to pass the time

6 months ago or so they set the server to reboot automatically if there is no game activity for 30 minutes. So if you log in and don't have a game you could be at the end of the 30-minute cycle. The idea was to automate resets so that if the game froze it wouldn't be more than 30 minutes for it to come back up. Starting an exhibition game seems to be enough to prevent the reset.

What the heck! ... Exhibition games are good to warm up and test your drafted teams while waiting for a league game ... Or have classic what if encounters (e.g. Weaver's O's or the Red Machine vs. 27 NYY's) ...
