The Jubille Revisited Progressive League (JRPL) is looking to owners for a very unique and challenging league format. You own the Franchise. Every 7th season you start over with the players that appeared on your franchises MLB roster to start the season. Then you draft, trade, pray and finesse your way towards a championship team. In the process you measure your success, not only against the other teams in the league, but against how your MLB franchise did.
We have a great group of owners as you will see below and are hoping to get back up to 16 teams after a commissioner bail out. Teams and rosters listed below.
THIS IS A FRANCHISE BASED PROGRESSIVE LEAGUE
Here's how it works. We are entering year 1948. In 1950 we revert to the actual rosters that each team had at the beginning of the 1950 season. Then the next six seasons the progressive is much more traditional....Trades, drafts (snake style for two more years then traditional strait records), four divisions of 4 until 60's expansion, IR, no DH.
The differences and challenges come in with building quickly, making minor and major trades, manipulating your assets now for those later in the Jubilee Cycle, targeting a couple of years rather than trying to build a ten year competitive team. You also may be able to own your favorite franchise's players for a majority of their careers. Example: I have the Pirates. I will get Roberto Clemente in 1956, his second year, and because of the repeated cycles he is in I will have him until his untimely death.
The cycles restart in 50, 56, 62, 68, etc. The available franchises follow. This link,

Our current owners are: hersheybear, coled, dreeves, thunderkat, poppapomp, mattedesa, fabulous, Italyprof, Husker75, pick1or2, mini157, and myself BullMoose.
Here are the teams and their submitted 1948 rosters prior to the former commish' late bail out put us in league limbo (we had a full league at the time but he let it wallow causing this restart)
