Do any of you know a good, effective, way to increase a players WE?  I have a freshman with great potential, but his WE is 13, and he seems to have no interest in improving it.  I thought conditioning, which I have at 20, and playing time, about 17 minutes per game, would be 2 factors that might improve his WE. But, he seems determined to be a slacker, and has hardly improved in any area, through the first 7 games. Anything I can do to motivate him? Thanks for any help you can give.

I just signed a guy with a WE of 13 too. I threw a RS on him this season and plan to start him the next 4 seasons.

I'm hoping I can get about 4-5 points of WE growth for every season of starting but we'll see.

Can you start your guy this season?

Hey duke!
I have a guy that began with a 14 WE on my Albertus team.
I started him as a freshman all 28 games at PG, averaging 21 minutes, and he improved to a 19.

Conditioning does NOTHING to WE

You need to start him and get him 25 mins per game if you want to see a jump

WE can only be increased through playing time and starts

I could start him, but for now he is my first big man off the bench, and is averaging about 17 minutes of playing time per game. If his IQ would improve to at least a C, then I might start him. Is it that important that he start, to improve WE, even if his playing time would probably be about the same number of minutes as it is now?

Yeah pretty sure min will only raise it minimally. He needs to start if you want to get the most out of him

Starts are where the money is in increasing WE.

I signed a 16 WE guy and started him all 4 yrs...he's now up to 44 WE approaching the end of his senior season. Season by season he went up 5, 6, 8, and 9 respectively in WE.

Overall he has gone from 595 rating to 838 rating, so you can definitely see good improvement, you just have to be committed to starting the guy immediately.

Thanks for the input everyone. Looks like I have a new starting center, once he reaches a C-  IQ.
